Answer

(a)

(i) Parallel lines are AC,ED\overleftrightarrow{AC}, \overleftrightarrow{ED}

(ii) The pairs of intersecting lines are :

AB,AD;AB,CD;AD,ED;ED,CD;AD,CD\overleftrightarrow{AB}, \overleftrightarrow{AD} ; \overleftrightarrow{AB}, \overleftrightarrow{CD} ; \overleftrightarrow{AD}, \overleftrightarrow{ED} ; \overleftrightarrow{ED}, \overleftrightarrow{CD} ; \overleftrightarrow{AD}, \overleftrightarrow{CD}.

(iii) Concurrent lines are three or more lines passing through the same point.

Lines AD,ED and CD\overleftrightarrow{AD}, \overleftrightarrow{ED} \text{ and } \overleftrightarrow{CD}are concurrent.

(b)

(i) False — Points A, B and D do not lie on the same straight line; therefore, they are not collinear.

(ii) False — From the figure, line AB and line ED do not intersect at C.
