18, a, (b - 3) are in A.P.
In an A.P., consecutive differences are equal.
⇒ a - 18 = (b - 3) - a
⇒ a - 18 = b - 3 - a
⇒ a + a - 18 + 3 = b
⇒ 2a - 15 = b
⇒ 2a - b = 15
Hence, the value of 2a - b = 15.
