Substituting a = 2, b = 3 and c = 1 in the given expression, we get:
a2 + b2 + c2 - 2ab - 2bc - 2ca + 3abc
= (2)2 + (3)2 + (1)2 - 2(2)(3) - 2(3)(1) - 2(1)(2) + 3(2)(3)(1)
= 4 + 9 + 1 - 12 - 6 - 4 + 18
= 14 - 22 + 18
= -8 + 18
∴ a2 + b2 + c2 - 2ab - 2bc - 2ca + 3abc = 10
