xy = 6

Using identity :

(a - b)3 = a3 - b3 - 3ab(a - b)

⇒ (3x – 2y)3 = [(3x)3 - (2y)3 - 3 × 3x × 2y × (3x - 2y)]

⇒ (5)3 = 27x3 - 8y3 - 18xy × (5)

⇒ 125 = 27x3 - 8y3 - 90xy

⇒ 125 = 27x3 - 8y3 - 90(6)

⇒ 27x3 - 8y3 = 125 + 540

⇒ 27x3 - 8y3 = 665

Hence, 27x3 - 8y3 = 665.
