2Cu(NO3)2 2CuO + 4NO2 + O2
Blue copper [II] nitrate changes to black coloured copper [II] oxide. - Heat on Lead [II] Nitrate:
2Pb(NO3)2 2PbO + 4NO2 + O2
White lead [II] nitrate changes to yellow litharge.
