By formula,
Lateral surface area = 2(l + b)h
So, reason (R) is true.
Substituting values, we get :
Lateral surface area = 2 x (15 + 12) x 9
= 2 x 27 x 9
= 486 cm2.
So, assertion (A) is false.
∴ A is false, but R is true.
Hence, option 4 is the correct option.
