The total angle at the centre of a circle is 360°. When divided into n equal parts, each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{n}$.

(i) Circle divided into 2 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{2}$ = 180°

(ii) Circle divided into 3 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{3}$ = 120°

(iii) Circle divided into 4 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{4}$ = 90°

(iv) Circle divided into 6 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{6}$ = 60°

(v) Circle divided into 8 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{8}$ = 45°

(vi) Circle divided into 12 equal parts:

Each angle = $\dfrac{360^\circ}{12}$ = 30°
