Answer

Steps of construction:

  1. Draw YZ = 4.5 cm.

  2. With Y as centre and radius 5.7 cm draw an arc.

  3. With Z as centre and radius 5.7 cm draw another arc, cutting previous arc at X.

  4. With X as centre and radius 5 cm, draw an arc.

  5. With Z as centre and radius 4.6 cm draw another arc, cutting previous arc at T.

  6. Join XT and ZT.
