Steps of construction :

  1. Draw AC = 5.8 cm.

  2. Draw the perpendicular bisector XOY of AC.

  3. Set off OB = 3.2 cm on OY and OD = 3.2 cm on OX.

  4. Join AB, BC, CD and DA.
