C.P. of 20 articles = S.P. of 16 articles
Let the C.P. of 20 articles be ₹ 100.
The C.P. of 1 article = ₹ = ₹ 5
The S.P. of 16 articles = The C.P. of 20 articles = ₹ 100
The S.P. of 1 article = ₹ = ₹ 6.25
(∵ S.P. is greater than C.P., means articles are sold at a profit.)
Profit = S.P. - C.P.
= ₹ (6.25 - 5) = ₹ 1.25
Hence,option 1 is the correct option.
