Given, diameter of a circle = 30 cm.

As we know that radius is half of the diameter.

⇒ Radius = 12\dfrac{1}{2} x diameter= 12\dfrac{1}{2} x 30

= 15 cm.

The distance from the center O to point P is 20 cm. Since OP = 20 cm is greater than the radius of the circle (15 cm).

∴ Point P lies outside the circle.

Hence, option 3 is the correct option.
