Given,
List = 12, 52, 72, 73 …..
= 1, 25, 49, 73, ……..
Here,
a2 - a1 = 25 - 1 = 24
a3 - a2 = 49 - 25 = 24.
Since, common difference between consecutive terms are equal.
Hence, it forms an A.P.
Next term = 73 + d = 73 + 24 = 97.
Hence, Option 3 is the correct option.
