Let x = -1, then y = -(-1) + 4 ⇒ y = 5

Let x = 0, then y = 0 + 4 ⇒ y = 4

Let x = 1, then y = -1 + 4 ⇒ y = 3

Step 2:

Make a table i(as given below) for the different pairs of the values of x and y:
