Steps of construction :

  1. We know that each angle in a regular hexagon = 120°.

  2. Draw a line segment AB = 2.4 cm.

  3. At A and B draw rays making an angle of 120° each and cut off AF = BC = 2.4 cm.

  4. At F and C, draw rays making angle of 120° each and cut off EF = CD = 2.4 cm.

  5. Join ED. Hence, ABCDEF is the required hexagon.

  6. Draw the perpendicular bisectors of AB and AF which intersect each other at O.

  7. With O as center and OA as radius draw a circle which will pass through all the vertices of the regular hexagon.

Hence, above is the required circumcircle of regular hexagon.
