= 6x(1+1) - 10x - 5x + 10 - 18
= 6x2 + (- 10x - 5x) + (10 - 18)
= 6x2 - 15x - 8

= 6 x 22 - 15 x 2 - 8
= 6 x 4 - 15 x 2 - 8
= 24 - 30 - 8
= - 14
Hence, for x = 2, the value of [2x(3x - 5) - 5(x - 2) - 18] is - 14.
