Reason — Excess fertilisers in water cause eutrophication. This leads to increased growth of algae and decomposer bacteria, which consume a large amount of dissolved oxygen. As a result, fish and other aquatic animals may die due to lack of oxygen instead of growing faster.

Solar energy from the sun passes through the atmosphere to the earth and reflected back into space. While greenhouses help plants thrive in cold winters, the greenhouse effect has become a major cause of global warming.
