Search engine works with the following two elements:
- Web Crawler — It is a software that browses the Internet in a systematic manner to retrieve documents and their web addresses. It is also called Spider, Bot or Robot.
- Indexing Software — It is a software that extracts information from the list of documents and web addresses received from the web crawler, prepares an index of it and stores in a database.
