Answer

(x2 - 5x + 7)(x2 - 5x - 7)

= [(x2 - 5x) + 7][(x2 - 5x) - 7].

As, we know that,

a2 - b2 = (a - b)(a + b).

∴ [(x2 - 5x) + 7][(x2 - 5x) - 7] = (x2 - 5x)2 - 72

Hence, (x2 - 5x + 7)(x2 - 5x - 7) = (x2 - 5x)2 - 72.
