(ii) By counting the unit squares enclosed by the figure: Area of the region enclosed by the figure = 5 sq. units Hence, the area of the region enclosed by figure (ii) is 5 sq. units. (iii) By counting the unit squares enclosed by the figure: Area of the region enclosed by the figure = 10 sq. units Hence, the area of the region enclosed by figure (iii) is 10 sq. units. (iv) By counting the unit squares enclosed by the figure: Area of the region enclosed by the figure = 6 sq. units Hence, the area of the region enclosed by figure (iv) is 6 sq. units. (v) By counting the unit squares enclosed by the figure: Area of the region enclosed by the figure = 4 sq. units Hence, the area of the region enclosed by figure (v) is 4 sq. units.
