Find area of trapezium, whose parallel sides measure 10 cm and 8 cm respectively and the distance between these sides is 6 cm.

We know that,
Area of trapezium = × (sum of parallel sides) × Height
= × (10 + 8) × 6
= × (18) × 6
= 9 × 6
= 54 cm2.
Hence, area of trapezium is 54 cm2.
