Find the area of a triangle whose base is 15 cm and the corresponding height is 9.6 cm.

Given,
Base = 15 cm
Corresponding height = 9.6 cm
We know that
Area of triangle = × Base × Corresponding height
= × 15 × 9.6
= 15 × 4.8
= 72 cm2.
Hence, area of triangle = 72 cm2.
