Answer

Circumference of circle = 2πr = 2 × π × 17.5

= 2 × 227\dfrac{22}{7} × 17.5

= 2 × 22 × 2.5

= 22 × 5 = 110 cm.

Area of circle = πr2

= 227\dfrac{22}{7} × (17.5)2

= 227\dfrac{22}{7} × 17.5 × 17.5

= 22 × 2.5 × 17.5

= 962.5 cm2.

Hence, circumference = 110 cm and area = 962.5 cm2.
