On arranging the given set of data in ascending order, we get :

16, 16, 19, 25, 26, 28, 31, 32, 35

Number of observations, n = 9 (odd)

Median = [n+12]th\Big[\dfrac{n+1}{2}\Big]^{th} term

= [9+12]th\Big[\dfrac{9+1}{2}\Big]^{th} term

= [102]th\Big[\dfrac{10}{2}\Big]^{th} term

= 5th5^{th} term

= 26

Hence, the median = 26.
