4x2<3\dfrac{4 - x}{2} < 3

On cross multiplying , we get

⇒ 4 - x < 3 ×\times 2

⇒ 4 - x < 6

⇒ - x < 6 - 4

⇒ - x < 2

⇒ x > - 2

∵ As x is a real number .

Hence, solution set = {x > - 2}.
