Answer

x+0.56x1=12\dfrac{x + 0.5}{6x - 1} = \dfrac{1}{2}

On cross multiplying, we get

⇒ (x + 0.5) ×\times 2 = 1 ×\times (6x - 1)

⇒ 2 ×\times x + 2 ×\times 0.5 = 1 ×\times 6x - 1 ×\times 1

⇒ 2x + 1 = 6x - 1

⇒ 6x - 2x = 1 + 1

⇒ 4x = 2

⇒ x = 24\dfrac{2}{4}

⇒ x = 12\dfrac{1}{2}

Hence, option 1 is the correct option.
