This has led to a rapid increase in the number of vehicles on the road, which in turn lead to a sharp increase in pollution levels, especially in cities. Do you think we should halt the process of making new roads, bridges and tunnels to check the increase in vehicular pollution? Give reasons to support your answer.

Instead of developing road transport, India should focus more on the development of Metro rail. Do you agree with this statement? Give reasons to support your view.
