Substituting value of a and b in (10a + 3b) : (5a + 2b),

$\Rightarrow \dfrac{10(3k) + 3(5k)}{5(3k) + 2(5k)} \\[1em] \Rightarrow \dfrac{30k + 15k}{15k + 10k} \\[1em] \Rightarrow \dfrac{45k}{25k} \\[1em] \Rightarrow \dfrac{9}{5}.$

Hence, (10a + 3b) : (5a + 2b) = 9 : 5.
