If a polyhedron, has 10 vertices and 7 faces, find the number of edges in it.

Given:
Vertices, V = 10
Faces, F = 7
According to Euler's formula,
F + V - E = 2
So,
⇒ 7 + 10 - E = 2
⇒ 17 - E = 2
⇒ E = 17 - 2
⇒ E = 15
Hence, number of edges = 15.
