Answer

Against the statement.

On-the-job training does not include theoretical learning. The reasons are:

  1. Practical Knowledge Only — On-the-job training is also known as 'learning by doing'. It imparts practical knowledge of the job and not theoretical knowledge.

  2. Earning and Learning Together — In on-the-job training, learning and earning go together. The trainee contributes to production in the course of learning.

  3. Theoretical Learning is Off-the-Job — Theoretical learning is given through off-the-job training methods like internship, vestibule training, lectures, and seminars, where the focus is purely on learning.
