Given:
Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 42 cm
Perimeter of equilateral triangle = 3 × side
⇒ 42 = 3 × side
⇒ side =
⇒ side of triangle = 14 cm
Side of square = 2 × side of triangle
= 2 × 14
= 28 cm
Perimeter of square = 4 × side
= 4 × 28
= 112 cm
Hence, the perimeter of the square is 112 cm.
