If a point lies on the x‑axis, its y‑coordinate is 0.
If it’s at a distance of 4 units from the y‑axis, that means its x-coordinate is 4 or -4.
Its co-ordinates are (4, 0) or (-4, 0).
Hence, co-ordinates of the point are (4, 0) or (-4, 0).
