Recruitment is a positive process for the following reasons:

1. Aims at Attracting Candidates — Recruitment aims at creating a large pool of candidates from which appropriate employees can be selected. It encourages and invites people to apply for jobs rather than eliminating them.

2. More Candidates than Selected — The number of recruited candidates is much more than the number of selected candidates. The objective is to widen the field of choice and not to reject candidates.
