If the school bags of Garima and Nakul weigh 5.2 kg and 4.832 kg respectively, find
(i) the total weight
(ii) the difference in weight of the bags

(i) The total weight = 5.200 + 4.832
Writing in column form and adding:
Hence, the total weight of the bags is 10.032 kg.
(ii) The difference in weight = 5.200 - 4.832
Writing in column form and subtracting:
Hence, the difference in weight of the bags is 0.368 kg.
