Given,

⇒ 3x2 + 11x + 10 = 0

⇒ 3x2 + 6x + 5x + 10 = 0

⇒ 3x(x + 2) + 5(x + 2) = 0

⇒ (3x + 5)(x + 2) = 0

⇒ 3x + 5 = 0 or x + 2 = 0      [Using Zero-product rule]

⇒ 3x = -5 or x = -2

⇒ x = 53\dfrac{-5}{3} or x = -2.

Since, x ∈ I

x = -2

Hence, x = {-2}.
