Given,
By definition of equality of matrices we get,
-4 = b + 4 ⇒ b = -4 - 4 = -8,
a + 5 = 2 ⇒ a = 2 - 5 = -3,
2 = c - 1 ⇒ c = 2 + 1 = 3.
Hence, a = -3, b = -8 and c = 3.
