Answer

(0, 4), (-5, -2) and (5, -2); 30 sq. units

Reason

(a) From graph,

Coordinates of A = (0, 4), B = (-5, -2) and C = (5, -2).

(b) From graph,

1 block = 1 unit and AD is the height of triangle ABC.

BC = 10 units

AD = 6 units

We know that,

Area of triangle = 12×base×height\dfrac{1}{2} \times \text{base} \times \text{height}

=12×BC×AD=12×10×6=602=30 sq. units.= \dfrac{1}{2} \times BC \times AD \\[1em] = \dfrac{1}{2} \times 10 \times 6 \\[1em] = \dfrac{60}{2} \\[1em] = 30\text{ sq. units}.
