(a) The picture depicts a young child working at an eatery, i.e., child labour.

It is a violation of Human Rights because every child has the right to education, protection and a childhood free from exploitation. Making a child work deprives him of his basic rights and freedoms, his right to education and his overall development, and exposes him to exploitation.

(b) Three examples of Human Rights violation which children are subjected to are:

1. Child labour, where children are made to work in homes, shops, eateries, factories and fields instead of going to school.
2. Denial of the right to education.
3. Child trafficking, child marriage and physical abuse or exploitation of children.

(c) The Universal Declaration of Human Rights plays the following role in protecting Human Rights:

1. It lays down a common standard of rights and freedoms for all peoples and all nations of the world.
