(a) The given picture is of Taj Mahal. It is located on the bank of river Yamuna in Agra. This monument is built of pure white marble.

(b) This monument was built by Shah Jahan. Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal as her mausoleum. The method of decoration of this monument is called pietra dura.
