With Q as centre and radius 2.5 cm, draw an arc cutting PQ at point B. So, BQ = 2.5 cm.
Measure the length of segment AB using a ruler.

AB = PQ − PA − BQ = 10 cm − 4.3 cm − 2.5 cm = 3.2 cm.
Hence, the length of line segment = 3.2 cm.
