Answer

Let a = 4 cm, b = 3 cm and c = 5 cm.

s=a+b+c2=4+3+52=122=6∵ s = \dfrac{a + b + c}{2}\\[1em] = \dfrac{4 + 3 + 5}{2}\\[1em] = \dfrac{12}{2}\\[1em] = 6

∵ Area of triangle = s(sa)(sb)(sc)\sqrt{s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

= 6(64)(63)(65)\sqrt{6(6 - 4)(6 - 3)(6 - 5)} cm2

= 6×2×3×1\sqrt{6 \times 2 \times 3 \times 1} cm2

= 36\sqrt{36} cm2

= 6 cm2

Hence, option 4 is the correct option.
