  • 1 → Collecting duct.
  • 2 → Distal convoluted tubule.
  • 3 → Loop of Henle.
  • 4 → Bowman's capsule.

(ii) The efferent arteriole is narrower than the afferent arteriole. This creates a high hydrostatic pressure in the glomerulus.
