Let s be the side of cube.
As we know lateral surface area of cube = 4 x (side)2
⇒ 4 x s2 = 100 cm2
⇒ s2 = cm2
⇒ s2 = 25 cm2
⇒ s = cm
⇒ s = 5 cm
Volume of the cube = (side)3
= 53 cm3
= 125 cm3
Hence, option 2 is the correct option.
