⇒ Discriminant (D) = 0
⇒ b2 - 4ac = 0
⇒ (-k)2 - 4 × 2 × k = 0
⇒ k2 - 8k = 0
⇒ k(k - 8) = 0
⇒ k = 0 or k - 8 = 0
⇒ k = 0 or k = 8.
Hence, Option 4 is the correct option.
