(3x - 2y) (2x + y)

= (3x ×\times 2x) + (3x ×\times y + (-2y) ×\times 2x) + ((-2y) ×\times y)

= 6x2 + (3xy - 4xy) - 2y2

= 6x2 - 1xy - 2y2

Hence, (3x - 2y) (2x + y) = 6x2 - xy - 2y2
