Vestibule training is better than on-the-job training for the following reasons:

1. Greater Emphasis on Learning — Vestibule method permits greater emphasis on teaching the best method of work. Trainees can fully concentrate on learning since they are not under pressure to produce.

2. No Interruption to Production — Training does not hamper actual work of production, unlike on-the-job training where trainees may slow down work or damage equipment.

3. Expert Trainers — A large number of workers are trained under the guidance of expert trainers who teach both theoretical and practical aspects of the job.

4. Overcomes Initial Nervousness — Trainees get accustomed to the work routine and can overcome initial nervousness before working on the actual job.
