The volume of a rectangular wall is 33 m3. If its length is 16.5 m and height 8 m, find the width of the wall.

Given,
Volume = 33 m3
Length = 16.5 m
Height = 8 m
Volume of rectangular solid = l × b × h
⇒ 33 = 16.5 × b × 8
⇒ 33 = 132 × b
⇒ b =
⇒ b = 0.25 m
⇒ b = 0.25 × 100 cm = 25 cm.
Hence, width = 25 cm.
