The change of water from one form to another in nature, which results in its continuous circulation from earth's surface to the atmosphere and from the atmosphere back to the earth's surface is called water cycle.

- Water cycle helps in restoring the lost water from the earth's surface and maintaining the balance of underground water.
- The rain water is very important because agricultural production depends mainly on rains in many parts of the world.
