What are Directive Principles of State Policy? Which part of the Constitution contains these Principles?
Answer
The Directive Principles of State Policy are the guidelines for the government to follow in the governance of the country. Through these principles the Constitution has tried to establish India as Welfare state.
The Directive Principles of State Policy are provided in Part-IV of the Constitution.
