Constituents of the nucleus are called nucleons, i.e. protons and neutrons.
3115P has atomic number 15, hence it has 15 protons.
Mass number 31, hence number of neutrons = 31 - 15 = 16
Therefore, number of nucleons are p + n = 15 + 16 = 31.
