The three tags that let us create the definition lists are :
<DL>— It is used to define the starting and ending of a definition list.<DT>— It specifies a definition term.<DD>— It specifies a definition description. Web browsers usually format the definition on a new line and indent it.
A definition list is written in the following manner:

<DD>Apples are rich in Vitamin A. They are good for eye sight. They should be eaten in the morning.</DD>
